allowsyoutosetanSWR1through3.Theprecisionresistorcanbeingbothlargerandsmallerthanthe
standardvalueof50ohms,becausetheSWRvalueallowsnouniquemappingthemeasuredvalue.
Thedevelopmentwastosolvethemeasurementfunctionwithasfewcostlyperformanceprecision
resistors.OfcourseyoucancreatearesistivesSWR,capacitiveorinductivecomponentsarenot
included.
Cantheusedresistorsbewithoutmajorerrorsabout500MHz.Howbigistheinfluenceofwiringonthe
accuracy,mustbeongoing,ifappropriateinstrumentsareavailable.

Cautions:
Thisisasimpleunregulatedcharger,itcanandwilloverchargeyourbatteriesifleftunattended.
Thiscircuitusesdangerous120vACandnormalcautionsmustbeadheredtopreventelectrical
shocks.Theadvantagesofthiscurrentlimitingcircuitarethatitcanchargeaboutanyvoltageof
battery,Ihavecharged6,9,and12v.Itcanalsoassistinpreventingsulfationinthebatteryand
rejuvenateolderbatteries.

battery,themaximumcurrentflowisapproximately1/3A.ThepulsatingDCcurrentwillhelpbreakup
sulfationthatmaybepresentinthebatteryandcanpossiblyrejuvenateanolderweakor“neardead”
battery.
